Hello there Vipers fans I hope you are all doing well and are getting ready for a big weekend against the Sheffield Steelers.
It is Friday and we have just finished our training and team meetings for the day which involved an hour on the ice this morning, an hour at the gym and then a team meeting at David Lloyd where we went through the video analysis of the Nottingham game last weekend, going over the good and bad points of the game and then we went through our plays for the weekend.
This weekend we play two games against the Sheffield Steelers, the first is a Challenge Cup game and although we can’t progress it will give us the opportunity to practice our plays and systems ahead of Sunday.
Sheffield have proved where a good run can take you, a few weeks ago they were in touching distance of ourselves and they went on a great run and our now 2 points off the top with two games in hand.
With a third of the season gone we now have to pick up our form and take a leaf out of Sheffield’s book get on a roll and push ourselves up the league.
Anyway guys it will be great to see a packed house on Sunday night at the Arena, get yourselves down there and cheer us on, i’m sure we will put a performance in for you all.

Hi Mark Gouett here just wanting to thank everyone for coming down to the new shop at the weekend, it has been a great first weekend and hopefully to first of many.
It was a manic Friday getting everything ready for the new place, not just the shop but the new offices where the admin team are now based.
So remember to come down to the shop throughout the week and at he weekend for your hockey equipment and Vipers merchandise. Anything we don’t have instock equipment wise we will do our best to source in.

The Mincoffs Vipers can officially confirm that forward Marek Ivan has returned home to the Czech Republic this week and will not be returning to the Club after being given his release by the Club.
This Saturday the Mincoff Vipers will be officialy opening their new city centre store on Shakespeare opposite the Theartre Royal.
The Mincoffs Vipers will be hosting a Hollywood themed Ladies Night on January 28th 2009 at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead Hotel.
The glitz of Hollywood will be heading to Tyneside for one night only and you could be with your leading Vipers man as you head through the paparazzi to your table where you will enjoy a champagne reception before your two course meal.
